Iztri Raises Rs. 10 Crore to Bring Order to India’s Everyday Fabric-Care Market

Iztri, a Bengaluru-based fabric-care startup, has raised Rs. 10 crore in seed funding led by All In Capital and Suashish Group. The round also included several angel investors, family offices, and early-stage backers.
The startup is focused on a familiar but often overlooked household need – getting clothes ironed properly and returned on time. By using neighbourhood processing hubs, trained workers, and technology for booking and delivery, Iztri wants to turn an informal daily service into a more reliable experience.
What Iztri does
Iztri was founded in 2024 by Rohit Ramesh and Ankit Choudhary.
Its first service is on-demand steam ironing, with clothes picked up, processed, and delivered back to customers, often on the same day.
The company is not trying to replace every local ironing service overnight. Its aim is to solve common issues such as uncertain delivery times, uneven quality, poor communication, and the inconvenience of carrying clothes to and from a shop.
Consider a working family preparing for a wedding, office week, or school event. A delayed or poorly pressed set of clothes can quickly become a small headache. Iztri is selling predictability as much as pressing. Customers book a service, hand over their garments, and receive them back through a tracked process.
Why the startup raised Rs. 10 crore
Fabric care looks simple from the outside, but dependable service requires a strong operating system behind it. Clothes must be collected, sorted, processed, quality-checked, and returned without mix-ups or delays. Each extra hub also needs trained workers, equipment, local delivery support, and customer service.
Iztri plans to use the new funding to grow its hub network, improve its operations and technology, and enter adjacent categories such as dry cleaning and shoe care. This will help the company move beyond steam ironing and build a broader clothing-care platform.
Reports say Iztri has served more than 25,000 customers in Bengaluru and trained and employed over 200 workers through its hub network. The fresh capital can help the company strengthen that local base before expanding into more cities.
The bigger aim behind Iztri
India’s clothes-ironing market is still largely run through small, local providers. These services remain important, but quality and turnaround can vary widely. Iztri sees a chance to build a more organized service while creating steadier work opportunities for ironing professionals.
Its apartment-hub model is key to that plan. Instead of relying on one large central facility far from customers, Iztri can operate closer to residential communities. This could help it handle pickup and delivery more efficiently as order volumes rise.
The larger goal is to make fabric care feel as easy to book and track as other urban services. Whether the company can do this profitably at scale will depend on its ability to keep costs under control while maintaining quality.
Competitors in the fabric-care market
Iztri operates in a competitive space that includes local ironing providers, independent laundries, and organized brands such as Tumbledry. Tumbledry offers laundry, dry cleaning, shoe cleaning, and doorstep pickup and delivery across its network.
Iztri’s current difference is its focused entry point. It has begun with steam ironing, a frequent and lower-ticket household need, then plans to add more services. That narrow starting point may help it build regular customer habits before taking on the larger laundry and dry-cleaning market.
Key takeaways –
Iztri’s Rs. 10 crore seed round gives the young startup resources to improve its Bengaluru operations and widen its fabric-care offering. All In Capital and Suashish Group are backing a business that is attempting to bring consistency to an everyday service many households already use.
The idea is practical. Customers want clean, well-pressed clothes returned on time. Workers benefit from more structured processes and regular demand. Iztri now needs to prove that its local hub model can grow while keeping that simple promise intact.
