Spinoto Raises $149K to Make Vehicle Servicing Faster, Clearer and More Digital

Ahmedabad-based autotech startup Spinoto has raised $149,000 in pre-seed funding to strengthen its technology and scale its automobile service operations. The funding comes at a time when India’s vehicle service market is still heavily dependent on offline garages, phone calls and uncertain pricing.
Spinoto is trying to solve a simple but common problem. When a bike breaks down or a car needs routine service, most owners still lose time finding a reliable mechanic, checking prices and waiting at a garage. Spinoto wants to make this process more organized through a digital platform.
What Spinoto does
Spinoto connects vehicle owners with mechanics, workshops and service providers through one platform. The startup offers services such as routine servicing, repairs, roadside support, diagnostics, workshop bookings and doorstep vehicle care.
As per Spinoto’s official website, the company started in Ahmedabad and currently serves multiple areas in the city. The platform works on the idea of “Mechanic in Minutes,” where users can book vehicle service at their location instead of visiting a garage.
For example, if a scooter stops during office hours or a car needs a battery check at home, the user can book a mechanic through the app. The aim is to reduce waiting time and bring more price clarity before the work begins.
Founder and startup journey
Spinoto was founded by Krunalsinh Rana in Ahmedabad in December 2025.
The startup has been built around a practical pain point in India’s automobile service market. Many vehicle owners do not have a fixed trusted mechanic, while many mechanics do not get steady digital bookings. Spinoto is trying to connect both sides.
Funding purpose
As per reports, the fresh pre-seed funding will mainly be used for technology development, product improvement and stronger operational systems, as per recent reports. In simple words, Spinoto wants to improve the platform before expanding too quickly.
This is important because automobile servicing is not only an app business. It also needs trained mechanics, timely dispatch, spare-part coordination, customer support and quality checks. If one of these breaks, the customer experience suffers.
The company plans to strengthen its Ahmedabad model first and then expand to more major Indian cities. That seems like a sensible approach because local execution matters a lot in doorstep services.
Why Spinoto’s model matters
India has millions of two-wheelers and cars, but the after-sales service experience is still uneven. Authorized service centres can be costly or crowded. Local garages may be cheaper, but pricing and quality are not always clear.
A platform like Spinoto can bring more transparency if it verifies mechanics, shows pricing clearly and tracks service quality. This can help both vehicle owners and service partners.
Competitors and market view
Spinoto will compete with players such as GoMechanic, myTVS, ReadyAssist, Pitstop, Hoopy and other city-level garage aggregators. The market is crowded, but it is also fragmented, which gives newer startups room to build strong local trust.
Spinoto’s real test will be service quality. In this business, customers return only when the mechanic arrives on time, explains the issue honestly and does not surprise them with hidden charges.
