MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition Launched at Rs. 17.99 Lakh With Rear Entertainment Screen

JSW MG Motor India has introduced the Windsor EV Indulge Edition at Rs. 17.99 lakh, ex-showroom. This limited-edition electric vehicle adds new styling touches and extra comfort features, with a clear focus on rear-seat passengers.

The main change is not extra range or more power. Instead, MG has turned the Windsor into a more lounge-like family EV with a fresh cabin theme, cushions and a roof-mounted rear entertainment display.
Price and battery details
The MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition is priced at Rs. 17,99,800, ex-showroom. It is based on the 38kWh battery version of the Windsor EV and is not available with the larger 52.9kWh battery pack.

The electric motor produces 100kW, or 136 PS, and 200 Nm of torque. It sends power to the front wheels. MG claims a range of 332 km on a full charge under the MIDC test cycle.
Actual range will vary based on speed, traffic, air-conditioner use, passenger load and driving style. In everyday city use, buyers should expect the real-world figure to be lower than the official claim.
The car supports 7.4kW AC charging and 45kW DC fast charging. AC charging is suitable for home or workplace charging, while DC charging is useful on highway trips when quicker top-ups are needed.

What is new in the Indulge Edition
The most noticeable exterior update is the new Shadow Gold paint shade with a contrasting black roof. The special edition also gets black 18-inch alloy wheels, black outside mirrors and Indulge badging on the rear pillar.
Inside, MG has added Urban Tan and Black leatherette upholstery. The front headrests feature Indulge branding, while rear passengers get themed cushions and pillows.
The standout feature is the roof-mounted PRIVE Screen for the second row. It gives rear passengers an extra entertainment option, especially on longer journeys with children or family members.
The edition also includes an accessory package with rear sunshades, 3D mats, chrome grille accents, bumper-corner protectors, body-side moulding and a leather key cover.

Existing Windsor EV features remain
The Indulge Edition retains the Windsor’s key equipment, including a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, digital driver display, panoramic glass roof and 135-degree reclining rear seats. The reclining rear bench is one of the Windsor’s strongest points because it gives passengers a relaxed seating position during city trips.
Imagine a family travelling from Delhi to Jaipur with a charging stop on the way. The rear screen, sunshades, reclining seats and cushions could make the journey more comfortable. However, buyers planning frequent long drives should compare it with the Windsor EV Pro, which has the larger 52.9kWh battery and a claimed 449 km range.

Rivals and buyer decision
The MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition competes with the Tata Nexon EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6 and Hyundai Creta Electric in the broader electric-SUV market.
At this price, the key question is simple: do you prefer special-edition comfort features or a bigger battery? The Indulge Edition suits buyers who mainly drive in cities and value a premium rear-seat experience. Those who need more highway range may find the larger-battery Windsor Pro a better fit.
