Dell has launched the latest XPS 13 in India with Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processors. The compact laptop combines a premium aluminium design with a high-resolution touchscreen, fast storage and built-in Intel graphics.
With its small size and light weight, the new Dell XPS 13 is aimed at students, business users and professionals who want a portable Windows laptop for everyday work, travel and creative tasks.
Dell XPS 13 price in India
The Dell XPS 13 starts at Rs. 1,85,990 in India. The laptop is available in three configurations, with higher variants offering more memory and storage.
The India models come with up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. Pricing can vary depending on the selected processor, memory and storage combination.
Display and design
The laptop features a 13.4-inch touchscreen with a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Its adaptive refresh rate can go up to 120Hz, allowing the screen to adjust between smoother motion and lower power use.
The panel offers up to 500 nits of brightness and is designed for clear viewing in offices, classrooms and travel environments. The aluminium body gives the laptop a premium finish, while the device weighs around 1kg.
Dell has also included a seamless glass touchpad and a backlit keyboard. The minimalist design makes the XPS 13 look more like a premium lifestyle product than a traditional office laptop.
Processor and performance
The new XPS 13 uses Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processors. These chips are designed to balance performance and power efficiency in thin laptops.
The laptop should handle regular office work, web browsing, video calls, programming, document editing and light creative work comfortably. Intel’s integrated graphics can also manage casual gaming and basic photo or video editing, but this laptop is not intended to replace a dedicated gaming machine.
The system runs Windows 11 and includes modern connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7. Dell offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1TB of SSD storage in the India configurations.
Battery and portability
The Dell XPS 13 packs a 52Wh battery. Battery life will depend on screen brightness, processor mode and the applications being used, but the efficient Intel platform should support a full workday for many light-use situations.
The laptop’s biggest advantage is portability. It can easily fit into a small backpack, making it suitable for students, consultants, frequent travellers and people who work from different locations.
Rivals and competition
The Dell XPS 13 competes with premium compact laptops such as the Apple MacBook Air, MacBook Neo, HP OmniBook range and Lenovo Yoga Slim models.
The Dell laptop stands out with Windows compatibility, a touchscreen, a 120Hz display and a very light design. Apple’s MacBook models may offer stronger battery consistency, while some Windows rivals may provide OLED screens or more ports at similar prices.
Conclusion with key takeaways
The new Dell XPS 13 brings Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processors, a 2.5K touchscreen, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage to India.
At Rs. 1,80,990, it is positioned as a premium compact laptop for users who value design, portability and reliable everyday performance. Buyers seeking serious gaming or heavy professional graphics work may need a larger laptop with a dedicated GPU.
