Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2026 Opens – 15 Specialist and Senior IT Roles Announced

Bank of Baroda has opened two fresh recruitment drives for experienced professionals, offering a combined 15 openings in risk management, MSME banking, finance and senior technology leadership.
The applications opened on October 28, 2026, and the last date for both notifications is November 17, 2026. These are not entry-level bank jobs. Most roles require professional qualifications and relevant work experience, so applicants should carefully match their profile with the official advertisement before applying.
Two recruitment notices, 15 openings
The first notice, Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/19, is a special recruitment drive for 11 backlog vacancies on a regular basis. It is open only to eligible SC, ST and OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates.
The jobs are spread across Risk Management, MSME Banking and Finance. The positions include Senior Manager roles in project finance, MSME credit risk, operational risk, fraud analysis, MSME relationship management and business finance. There are also two Manager openings in Digital Fraud and two Chief Manager openings in Internal Controls.
The second notice, Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/18, has four contractual senior IT roles based in Mumbai. These are Deputy Chief Technology Officer, Head AI, Deputy Head Cloud Centre of Excellence and Deputy Head Platform Engineering. The contract is initially for three years and may be extended under the bank’s terms.
Important dates and how to apply
- Applications opened – October 28, 2026
- Last date to submit the form – November 17, 2026
- Application mode – Online through Bank of Baroda’s Careers and Current Opportunities page
- Recruitment notices – 2026/19 for regular specialist roles and 2026/18 for senior IT contract roles
Candidates can apply for only one post under the special recruitment drive. Before submitting the form, keep degree certificates, work-experience documents, category certificates and a recent photograph ready.
A useful example – a candidate with banking-sector experience in fraud prevention may fit the Manager – Digital Fraud role. But a general graduate without the required digital banking experience is unlikely to qualify. The precise educational and experience requirements vary by post.
Pay scales and remuneration
For the 11 regular specialist openings, the basic pay scale depends on the grade.
Manager roles in MMG/S-II carry a scale of Rs. 64,820 to Rs. 93,960. Senior Manager roles in MMG/S-III have a scale of Rs. 85,920 to Rs. 1,05,280. Chief Manager roles in SMG/S-IV carry a scale of Rs. 1,02,300 to Rs. 1,20,940. Eligible officers may also receive allowances and benefits under the bank’s rules.
For the four senior IT positions, Bank of Baroda has not published a fixed standard pay scale. Remuneration will be decided based on qualifications, experience, the role and market benchmarks. This means applicants should not assume that the regular-bank-officer pay scale applies to these contractual technology jobs.
Fees and selection
For the special recruitment drive, the fee is Rs. 850, including GST, for OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates. SC, ST, PwD, ex-servicemen and women candidates need to pay Rs. 175, including GST, plus applicable payment gateway charges.
The bank may use application screening, an online test, psychometric assessment, group discussion and or interview rounds depending on the role. The final process will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
