Samsung has launched its latest budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo in India at price of Rs 16,990.

From tomorrow onwards, it will be available across retail stores.

This budget smartphone comes with dual rear camera setup with 13 MP and 5 MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The smartphone will come with a Super AMOLED display and 8 MP front selfie shooter.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 720×1280 pixel resolution and powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor which runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

The smartphone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.

The smartphone sports a removable back panel and a physical home button which also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will also come with a dedicated hardware button for company’s own Digital Assistant – Bixby.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is backed by a 3000mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

Recently, the South Korean consumer electronics giant launched the limited-edition Burgundy Red colour variant of its last year’s flagship smartphone in India. The Burgundy Red edition of Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available for sale from April 13 onwards. The Burgundy Red edition of Galaxy S8 is priced at Rs 49,990.

Most recently, HMD Global launched its budget phones Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus, and higher end phone Nokia 8 Sirocco.
