Vodafone Idea (Vi) is back in the spotlight after two major developments which is that it is in advanced talks for a INR 35,000 crore funding package and a return to profitability in Q4 FY26. At first glance, this looks like a sharp turnaround story. But to understand what is really happening, we need to separate one-time accounting gains from operating progress, and financing discussions from final disbursal. Still, this moment is important.
