The Redmi Note 15 Special Edition launched in India on April 2, 2026, and it has already started getting attention in the mid-range market. Redmi’s Note series has always been popular for offering strong features at practical prices, and this new “Special Edition” tries to continue that pattern with a fresh design plus updated hardware balance.

If you are planning to buy a phone in the ₹20,000 range, this launch matters. Why? What’s New in the Redmi Note 15 Special Edition?

Redmi positioned this phone as a refreshed version in the Note 15 family, not a completely different model line. The biggest highlights reported at launch are:

• Larger battery (reported at 5,800mAh in launch coverage)
• New design choices including a red finish variant

Final Verdict

The Redmi Note 15 Special Edition focuses on what most users actually notice in daily life: display quality, battery comfort, design feel, and stable performance. If your goal is a well-balanced smartphone around ₹20,000–₹24,000 with a premium look and strong day-to-day usability, this is definitely worth shortlisting.

If your top priority is heavy gaming performance or camera specialization, you should compare alternatives before final decision.
