Lenovo has launched the ThinkBook 14x in India as a premium 14-inch laptop for professionals, students and users who want a powerful Windows computer in a slim body.

The laptop combines Intel Core Ultra processors, a high-resolution OLED display, fast wireless connectivity and a lightweight aluminium design. It is available through Lenovo’s Indian website with configurable hardware options.

Lenovo ThinkBook 14x price in India

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14x starts at Rs. 1,08,990 in India. The final price depends on the processor, storage and display configuration selected by the buyer. Lenovo is offering customizable options on its website.

Display and design

The laptop features a 14-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It covers the full DCI-P3 colour range and supports up to 500 nits of peak brightness.

This makes the ThinkBook 14x suitable for office work, video editing, presentations, streaming and colour-sensitive tasks. The taller 16:10 screen also provides more vertical space for documents and web pages compared with traditional 16:9 panels.

Lenovo has used an aluminium chassis, and the laptop weighs around 990 grams. It is approximately 12.9mm thin, making it easy to carry between home, office and college.

Processor, memory and storage

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14x can be configured with Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, Core Ultra 7 256V and other Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor options.

It comes with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The laptop also has dual SSD slots, allowing users to expand storage later. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel Arc graphics, which should be sufficient for office software, light creative work and casual entertainment.

The laptop runs Windows 11 Pro and supports Lenovo’s smart connectivity features. Lenovo Smart Connect allows users to connect the laptop with Android devices and iPhones for sharing files and managing selected functions across devices.

Ports and connectivity

The ThinkBook 14x includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports and a full-size HDMI port. It also supports Wi-Fi 7, which can provide faster wireless performance when paired with a compatible router.

Other features include a backlit keyboard, a glass touchpad and MIL-STD-810H durability certification. The keyboard’s adjustable lighting can be useful for people who work in low-light conditions.

Battery and everyday use

Battery capacity depends on the configuration. The top-end Core Ultra 7 model includes a 65Wh battery, while other versions use a 54.7Wh battery.

Actual battery life will vary based on brightness, workload, software and connectivity. Users working mainly on documents, browsing and video calls should get better endurance than those running demanding creative applications.

Who should buy the ThinkBook 14x

The laptop may suit business users, consultants, students and content creators who value portability and display quality. It is also a good option for people who want a professional-looking laptop without choosing a heavier gaming machine.

However, users who need dedicated graphics for serious gaming, 3D work or advanced video production may prefer a Lenovo Yoga Pro, ASUS Vivobook Pro or a creator-focused laptop with a discrete GPU.

Conclusion with key takeaways

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14x stands out with its lightweight body, 2.8K OLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, Intel Core Ultra processors and expandable storage. Its starting price of Rs. 1,08,990 places it in the premium thin-and-light laptop segment.

The device is best suited to users who want strong everyday performance, a sharp display and easy portability rather than gaming-focused hardware.

ASUS launches refreshed Zenbook/Vivobook lineup in India, and this is more than a routine hardware update. The company is clearly pushing a “design + AI + usability” strategy instead of just processor upgrades. In a laptop market where many devices now look similar on paper, ASUS is trying to create differentiation through material design, portability, and AI-ready performance.

The new lineup is wide. It includes premium Zenbook models like the Zenbook S14, Zenbook Duo, Zenbook A14, and Zenbook A16, along with refreshed Vivobook 14, Vivobook 16, Vivobook S14, and Vivobook S16. Pricing starts at ₹98,990 and goes up to ₹2,99,990 depending on model and configuration. This spread allows ASUS to target both aspirational buyers and practical productivity users.

For Indian buyers, the key question is simple: is this launch really useful, or just another spec refresh? Let’s break it down clearly.

What ASUS Announced in India

ASUS introduced a full refreshed portfolio across Zenbook and Vivobook series in India, with pre-orders opened for key Zenbook models and broader availability announced through ASUS stores and leading online channels.

The launch highlights include:

1. New AI-capable Intel Core Ultra and Snapdragon X2-powered devices
2. Focus on lighter chassis, premium finishing, and longer battery claims
3. Strong segmentation between flagship Zenbook and mainstream Vivobook lines

This matters because laptop buyers no longer evaluate only CPU generation. They now compare battery life, display quality, AI acceleration, portability, and daily comfort together.

Full Price Snapshot

ASUS has priced the lineup as follows in India:

From a pricing strategy point of view, ASUS is keeping the Vivobook series as the broader-volume product line while positioning Zenbook as premium mobility plus advanced workflow hardware.

Model Highlights in Simple Language

The refreshed lineup is easier to understand if we split it by user type.

Zenbook S14
This is the portable premium flagship in the lineup. ASUS is emphasizing slim build, OLED display quality, and long battery claims. It targets professionals who want an elegant device for meetings, travel, and heavy daily productivity.

Zenbook Duo
This remains ASUS’s dual-display productivity experiment, now in a more refined package. It is a niche product, but for users working with multitasking-heavy workflows like editing, coding, design, or research, two OLED screens can be genuinely useful.

Zenbook A14 and A16
These models bring Snapdragon X2 processors into the premium ultraportable conversation. ASUS appears to be positioning them for battery-first users who also want AI-ready local processing and lightweight form factors.

Vivobook 14 and 16
These are practical mainstream options for students, office users, and general-purpose buyers who need a capable everyday laptop without entering premium pricing zones.

Vivobook S14 and S16
These sit between basic mainstream and premium, offering better processor options and design refinement for users who want extra performance and longevity.

Why ASUS Is Talking About AI So Much

The AI angle in this launch is not just marketing language. Most of these refreshed models are built around processors with stronger NPU (Neural Processing Unit) capabilities, which support local AI tasks more efficiently.

In practical terms, this can improve tasks like:

1. Background noise removal and webcam enhancement during meetings
2. Faster local AI-assisted workflows in productivity tools
3. Better power efficiency in AI-supported system features

For now, AI laptop value is still evolving. But ASUS is clearly preparing its lineup for a market where AI-assisted computing becomes standard in the next few years.

Design and Materials: A Bigger Story Than It Looks

One under-discussed part of this launch is material and design positioning. ASUS has highlighted premium chassis work in the Zenbook line, including Ceraluminum messaging on select models. Whether buyers care about this depends on usage style, but in premium segments, feel and build quality increasingly influence purchase decisions.

A laptop is no longer judged only by benchmark charts. People carry it to offices, cafes, airports, classrooms, and meetings. Weight, texture, hinge quality, and keyboard comfort now affect buying decisions as much as processor specs for many users.

Availability and Sales Timeline

ASUS announced pre-order windows for selected premium models and confirmed wider availability through:

1. ASUS Exclusive Stores
2. ASUS e-shop
3. Major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart
4. Authorized retail channels

The go-live retail timeline around this launch window is important because buyers in this segment often compare multiple options before final purchase. Availability across both offline and online channels gives ASUS broader conversion potential.

Practical Buyer Scenarios

To make this launch useful, here are simple profile-based interpretations:

If you are a student or entry professional:
Vivobook 14/16 are likely the safer value picks unless your workflow needs stronger premium features.

If you are a working professional needing portability:
Zenbook S14 looks like the most straightforward premium choice in this refresh.

If you are a creator or advanced multitasker:
Zenbook Duo may justify its price if your workflow truly benefits from dual displays.

If battery-first premium portability is your top priority:
Zenbook A14/A16 are the models to watch closely.

Competitor Check: Where ASUS Fits

ASUS is now competing against a crowded and strong field in India:

ASUS’s advantage in this launch appears to be range breadth plus experimentation. Very few brands offer this many distinct design philosophies in one cycle, from mainstream productivity to dual-screen premium.

The challenge for ASUS will be perception consistency. Premium buyers want long-term reliability, service comfort, and strong after-sales support just as much as specs.

Is This Refresh Worth Attention?

Yes. This is one of the more meaningful laptop refresh cycles in India this year because it is not centered on one hero device. It is a portfolio-level update that spans multiple use cases and budgets.

What makes it relevant is the combination of:

1. AI-ready compute direction
2. Premium design effort in Zenbook line
3. Practical refresh in Vivobook value segment
4. Broad retail accessibility

For buyers, the right decision still depends on use case. But ASUS has made the lineup easier to map to user needs than many competitors do in single-model launches.

Conclusion

ASUS launches refreshed Zenbook/Vivobook lineup in India with a clear strategic message: future-ready performance should come with stronger design, better daily usability, and AI-era readiness. The lineup covers a wide price and user spectrum, from sub-₹1.1 lakh practical machines to flagship dual-screen premium laptops.

For India’s laptop buyers, this is a launch worth tracking carefully. If your purchase window is open in this cycle, comparing these models against your real workflow needs could help you choose better than spec-sheet-driven buying alone.
