The Indian smartphone market is heading into a busy launch period. Oppo, Infinix and Tecno are preparing new models for different sections of buyers, from premium camera-phone users to mobile gamers and budget 5G customers.

The Oppo Find X10 series is confirmed to launch in India on October 22. Infinix has scheduled the GT 50 Pro for October 27, while the Tecno Spark 50S 5G is expected to arrive on October 16. The three devices will target very different audiences.

Oppo Find X10 series

Oppo will launch the Find X10 series in India on October 22 at 4:45 PM IST. The lineup is expected to include the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max. The company will also introduce the Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition and Enco X4 earbuds at the India event.

The Find X10 Pro Max is expected to be the main attraction. It has been announced with a premium display and a camera system focused on high-resolution photography. Reports suggest that the top model may feature three 200MP cameras, supported by Oppo’s Hasselblad imaging partnership.

The phone is also expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and offer a large high-density battery. Its key rivals could include the iPhone 18 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Vivo X300 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro.

Oppo is positioning the Find X10 range as a premium camera and performance series. Indian pricing will be revealed at the launch.

Infinix GT 50 Pro

The Infinix GT 50 Pro will launch in India on October 27. It is designed mainly for gaming and performance-focused buyers.

The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. A faster refresh rate can make games, animations and scrolling appear smoother. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The GT 50 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and wireless charging. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the front camera has a 13MP sensor. It runs Android 16 with XOS 16.

The phone could compete with the Poco F series, iQOO performance phones and Realme GT models. Its final position will depend heavily on Indian pricing.

Tecno Spark 50S 5G

The Tecno Spark 50S 5G is expected to launch in India on October 16 as per Beebom. However, Tecno had not disclosed the complete specifications in its initial teaser, so some details are based on the existing Spark 50 5G.

The expected features include a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, 50MP rear camera and a large 6,500mAh battery. The Spark 50 5G also supports 45W charging and runs Android 16-based HiOS 16.

The Spark 50S 5G may compete with phones from Redmi, Realme, Lava and Infinix in the affordable 5G segment. Its strongest selling points could be battery life, a large screen and a budget-friendly price.

Which phone suits which user

• The Oppo Find X10 series is aimed at premium buyers who want advanced cameras, high-end performance and flagship design.
• The Infinix GT 50 Pro is better suited to gamers and users who prefer powerful hardware, a fast display and a large battery.
• The Tecno Spark 50S 5G will likely target students and budget buyers who want 5G connectivity, long battery life and a large display at a lower price.

Prices and final specifications may vary by market. Some Tecno Spark 50S 5G details are based on the existing Spark 50 5G and should be confirmed at the official launch.

Infinix is preparing to bring its GT 50 Pro gaming smartphone to India. The company has confirmed an India launch window for October 2026, although the exact launch date and official price are still unknown.

The phone has already arrived in select global markets. Its main highlights include a high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen, gaming triggers, a MediaTek processor and a large battery. This combination could make it an interesting option for users who want strong performance without moving to an ultra-premium gaming phone.

Infinix GT 50 Pro display and design

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected, same as its global availability, to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. Its 144Hz refresh rate should make scrolling, animations and supported games look smoother than on standard 60Hz or 120Hz screens.

The phone is also expected to offer a touch sampling rate of up to 330Hz, with a higher instant touch response in selected gaming situations. In simple terms, the screen can respond quickly when a player taps or swipes during a game.

Reports also mention peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. These figures are based on the global model, so the final Indian version should be confirmed before purchase.

Performance built for gaming

The smartphone is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset. It may be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, depending on the variant.

For gaming, the device is likely to include pressure-sensitive GT Triggers. These can act like extra controls, allowing players to map actions such as aiming, shooting or braking without relying only on the touchscreen.

A liquid-cooling system and a large vapour chamber are also expected. These features are designed to spread heat during long gaming sessions. They cannot remove all heating, but they may help maintain performance for longer periods.

Battery and camera specifications

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery. It may support 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. The large battery should appeal to gamers, video viewers and users who spend long hours away from a charger.

The expected camera setup includes a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 13MP front camera. This suggests that the phone is designed mainly around performance and gaming, but should still handle everyday photography.

Other reported features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster and an IP64 rating.

Expected price and competition

Infinix has not announced the Indian price, storage variants or sale date. Some reports and industry trackers expect the phone to be priced near Rs. 40,000, but this is only an estimate.

At that level, the GT 50 Pro could compete with performance-focused phones from Poco, iQOO, OnePlus and Xiaomi. Its biggest advantages may be the 144Hz AMOLED panel, gaming triggers, wireless charging and large battery.

However, buyers should also compare software support, camera quality, service availability and long-term updates before making a decision.

Conclusion with key takeaways

The Infinix GT 50 Pro appears to be aimed at serious mobile gamers and users who want a powerful phone with long battery life. Its Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, 144Hz display, cooling system and gaming controls give it a clear performance-focused identity.

The final Indian price and configuration will decide whether it becomes a strong alternative in the segment. Until Infinix confirms these details, the reported specifications and expected price should be treated as provisional.
