As discussed in earlier article, Infinix has opened pre-bookings for the GT 50 Pro ahead of its India launch on 27 October. The phone is aimed at buyers who want strong gaming performance, a large battery and a high-refresh-rate display without moving into the flagship price bracket.

The final India price is still not listed by the company. Rs. 1,999 is the pre-booking payment, not the phone’s actual retail price.

Pre-booking offers and bank discount

The Infinix GT 50 Pro can be pre-booked for Rs. 1,999 from 24 October to 27 October through the official Infinix website. Customers who complete the pre-booking are eligible for a complimentary Infinix X60 Bluetooth speaker, listed at Rs. 5,999.

Infinix is also advertising an instant bank discount of up to Rs. 5,000 on major banks, along with no-cost EMI options. The remaining phone payment must be made by 30 October under the brand’s stated terms and conditions.

Variants and colour choices

The official product page currently shows a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option in Black Abyss and Red Blaze colours. Infinix’s specification page also lists a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, though buyers should wait for the India sale listing to confirm its availability and price.

The GT 50 Pro uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which should help with quicker app loading and smoother multitasking.

Built for gaming and long sessions

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip and has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate. In simple terms, scrolling and supported games can appear smoother than on a regular 60Hz screen.

For gaming, Infinix has included pressure-sensitive GT Triggers and a HydroFlow liquid cooling system. These features are meant to offer extra controls and manage heat during longer sessions of games such as BGMI or Call of Duty Mobile.

The GT 50 Pro also carries a 6,500mAh battery, 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging support.

Camera and everyday features

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. There is a 13MP selfie camera on the front. Other useful additions include dual speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The phone will face competition from gaming-focused options by Poco, iQOO and Realme. Its final price will decide whether it is a genuine value pick or simply a feature-packed alternative.
