The Indian smartphone market is heading into a busy launch period. Oppo, Infinix and Tecno are preparing new models for different sections of buyers, from premium camera-phone users to mobile gamers and budget 5G customers.

The Oppo Find X10 series is confirmed to launch in India on October 22. Infinix has scheduled the GT 50 Pro for October 27, while the Tecno Spark 50S 5G is expected to arrive on October 16. The three devices will target very different audiences.

Oppo Find X10 series

Oppo will launch the Find X10 series in India on October 22 at 4:45 PM IST. The lineup is expected to include the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max. The company will also introduce the Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition and Enco X4 earbuds at the India event.

The Find X10 Pro Max is expected to be the main attraction. It has been announced with a premium display and a camera system focused on high-resolution photography. Reports suggest that the top model may feature three 200MP cameras, supported by Oppo’s Hasselblad imaging partnership.

The phone is also expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and offer a large high-density battery. Its key rivals could include the iPhone 18 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Vivo X300 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro.

Oppo is positioning the Find X10 range as a premium camera and performance series. Indian pricing will be revealed at the launch.

Infinix GT 50 Pro

The Infinix GT 50 Pro will launch in India on October 27. It is designed mainly for gaming and performance-focused buyers.

The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. A faster refresh rate can make games, animations and scrolling appear smoother. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The GT 50 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and wireless charging. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the front camera has a 13MP sensor. It runs Android 16 with XOS 16.

The phone could compete with the Poco F series, iQOO performance phones and Realme GT models. Its final position will depend heavily on Indian pricing.

Tecno Spark 50S 5G

The Tecno Spark 50S 5G is expected to launch in India on October 16 as per Beebom. However, Tecno had not disclosed the complete specifications in its initial teaser, so some details are based on the existing Spark 50 5G.

The expected features include a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, 50MP rear camera and a large 6,500mAh battery. The Spark 50 5G also supports 45W charging and runs Android 16-based HiOS 16.

The Spark 50S 5G may compete with phones from Redmi, Realme, Lava and Infinix in the affordable 5G segment. Its strongest selling points could be battery life, a large screen and a budget-friendly price.

Which phone suits which user

• The Oppo Find X10 series is aimed at premium buyers who want advanced cameras, high-end performance and flagship design.
• The Infinix GT 50 Pro is better suited to gamers and users who prefer powerful hardware, a fast display and a large battery.
• The Tecno Spark 50S 5G will likely target students and budget buyers who want 5G connectivity, long battery life and a large display at a lower price.

Disclaimer

Prices and final specifications may vary by market. Some Tecno Spark 50S 5G details are based on the existing Spark 50 5G and should be confirmed at the official launch.

Tecno has unveiled the Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, a special version of its performance-focused smartphone with a bold black-and-red design inspired by the Italian lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini.

There is one important detail to note. As of September 5, 2026, the special Tonino Lamborghini edition has been unveiled, but its India price and exact sale details have not been officially confirmed in the reports available. The regular Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G was launched in India earlier with a listed price of Rs. 49,999.

What makes this edition different

The biggest difference is the design. Tecno has given this limited edition a Tonino Lamborghini Black finish with red highlights, a hexagon-style pattern, and a metallic Tonino Lamborghini logo on the back.

It also gets a Pulse Line design on the rear panel, which gives the phone a more sporty look. This is not the kind of phone that tries to look plain. It is clearly made for users who want their phone to stand out.

The rear Alive Matrix Display also gets special touches, including a custom “L” lighting effect. In daily use, this can work as a small visual alert for calls, messages, gaming, charging, and other actions.

Display and performance

The Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Edition comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. In simple words, scrolling, gaming, and animations should feel smoother than on a regular 60Hz screen.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G chipset. Tecno has also highlighted gaming-focused features, including a P1 graphics chip and cooling system. For a user who plays titles like BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, or Genshin Impact, this can help with smoother frame rates and better heat control during long sessions.

Battery and charging

One of the strongest points of the phone is its 6,500mAh battery. That is bigger than what many slim smartphones offer today.

For practical use, this means the phone should be comfortable for long screen time, gaming, travel, video streaming, and social media use. It also supports 45W fast charging, which is useful because a large battery can otherwise take too long to refill.

Camera setup

The phone has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera with OIS. OIS means optical image stabilization, which helps reduce blur when your hands move slightly while taking photos or videos.

There is also an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls. This is not mainly a camera-first phone, but the OIS main sensor should help in everyday photography, especially at night or indoors.

Software and durability

The phone runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16. Tecno has also said the device will get two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

Another useful point is durability. The phone carries IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, which means it is built to handle dust and water exposure better than many regular smartphones. Still, users should avoid treating it like an underwater camera, because water damage policies can vary by brand and condition.

Competitors to watch

If the Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Edition comes to India around the same premium mid-range price band, it may compete with phones from iQOO, OnePlus, Realme, Motorola, and Nothing.

Models like iQOO Neo series phones, OnePlus Nord series devices, Realme GT series phones, and Nothing Phone models usually attract buyers who want performance, design, and strong daily usability. Tecno’s advantage here is the limited-edition design, big battery, and gaming-focused identity.

Conclusion with key takeaways

The Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Edition is clearly built for people who want a phone that looks different. Its black-and-red design, rear lighting, large battery, fast AMOLED display, and gaming-focused hardware make it more than just a cosmetic special edition.

Key takeaways –

• The Tonino Lamborghini edition was unveiled on September 4, 2026.
• India price and sale date for the special edition are not confirmed yet.
• The regular Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G was listed in India at Rs. 49,999.
• It gets a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chip, and 6,500mAh battery.
• The unique design, Alive Matrix Display, and gaming features are its biggest highlights.

Facts Input

POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra are launching globally today in couple of hours, September 1, 2026. The company has already opened its official global launch page, and the new F-series phones are being positioned as performance-focused flagship devices.

For POCO fans, this launch is important because the F-series has always been about giving strong hardware at a more aggressive price than many premium brands. This time, POCO is going bigger with faster displays, high-end Snapdragon chips, larger batteries, Bose-tuned audio and bold designs.

What POCO has confirmed

POCO has confirmed that the F9 series will include the POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra. The official teaser page calls the lineup an “all-round performance flagship.”

Both phones will use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 family chipsets. The POCO F9 Ultra gets the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the POCO F9 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series chip.

POCO has also confirmed a 185Hz ultra-bright AMOLED display. In simple words, this means the screen can refresh very fast, making scrolling, gaming and animations feel smoother. The company is also highlighting a 185FPS gaming experience in selected supported games.

Battery and charging

The POCO F9 Ultra is confirmed to pack a massive 8,050mAh battery. It also supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless HyperCharge.

That makes the Ultra model especially interesting for gamers, travellers and heavy users. For example, if someone plays games, watches videos, uses maps and takes photos throughout the day, a larger battery can reduce charging worry.

The POCO F9 Pro is expected to get a smaller, but still large, battery. Reports suggest it may come with around a 6,330mAh battery and 100W wired charging, though final details should be checked after the launch.

Possible display and design details

The POCO F9 Pro may feature a 6.59-inch QHD+ OLED display. The POCO F9 Ultra could come with a larger 6.85-inch or 6.9-inch AMOLED display.

The design also looks more premium than older POCO phones. The F9 Ultra has been shown in a deep cherry colour with a textured glass-fibre-style surface. The F9 Pro’s Aurora Green variant gets a full-panel luminous back design, which can glow softly after exposure to light.

This is not a must-have feature, but it gives the phone a different personality. It may appeal to users who want a device that looks distinct without needing a case to stand out.

Expected camera upgrades

Camera details are still based on reports. The POCO F9 Pro may offer a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom.

The POCO F9 Ultra is expected to step up with a stronger camera setup, possibly including a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom.

If these details are correct, the Ultra could be more useful for travel photos, portraits and zoom shots, while the Pro may focus more on performance value.

Competitors

The POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra will compete with phones from iQOO, OnePlus, Realme, Xiaomi, Samsung and Motorola in the performance flagship segment.

The Ultra model may go closer to premium flagship territory, especially if leaked European pricing proves accurate. The Pro could be the better pick for buyers who want speed and battery life without paying for every top-end camera feature.

Conclusion – Key takeaways

POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra look built for users who care about performance, display smoothness, battery life and gaming.

The confirmed highlights include Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 family chips, 185Hz AMOLED display, Bose-tuned audio, and an 8,050mAh battery on the Ultra. The final price and region-wise availability will decide how strong these phones look against OnePlus, iQOO and Samsung rivals.

Tecno is getting ready to bring another power-packed phone to India, and this time the focus is clearly on battery, gaming style and a bold design. The Tecno Pova 8 5G launch date has been confirmed for June 11, 2026, at 12 PM IST.

The company has already teased the phone’s rear design, and it looks very different from the usual budget 5G phones we see in India. The biggest confirmed highlight is the massive 8,000mAh battery, which could make the Pova 8 5G one of the most interesting options for users who hate charging their phone every day.

Tecno has not revealed the full specification sheet yet, so some details are still based on teasers, certification listings and media reports. Still, enough is visible to understand what kind of buyer this phone is targeting.

Tecno Pova 8 5G launch date in India

The Tecno Pova 8 5G is set to launch in India on June 11, 2026, at 12 PM. Tecno India has teased the phone through its official social media channels, while several technology publications have also reported the same launch date. This timing is interesting because the Indian budget and mid-range 5G phone market is very active right now. Brands like Realme, iQOO, Poco, Redmi, Motorola and Infinix are all trying to attract young buyers with high refresh rate displays, large batteries and gaming-friendly processors.

Tecno’s Pova series already has a reputation for offering big batteries and flashy designs. With the Pova 8 5G, the company seems to be pushing that identity even harder.

Big 8,000mAh battery is the main highlight

The most important confirmed feature is the 8,000mAh battery. For simple comparison, many regular 5G phones still come with 5,000mAh or 5,500mAh batteries. An 8,000mAh pack is much larger and should help users get longer backup. This can be useful for students, gamers, delivery workers, content watchers and people who travel often. If someone spends the day on YouTube, Instagram, calls, maps and casual gaming, battery life becomes more important than a thin body.

Charging speed is not officially confirmed in the teaser, but reports and certification details suggest that the phone may support 45W wired charging. That sounds practical because a very large battery also needs decent charging speed. Otherwise, charging time can become frustrating.

A design that wants attention

The Tecno Pova 8 5G is not trying to look boring. The teaser shows a futuristic rear panel with a matrix-style lighting area near the camera module. Some reports call it an Alive Matrix display or glyph-style lighting setup. This design will probably be used for notifications, charging effects, calls or gaming-style visual feedback. It also makes the phone stand out in a crowded market, where many devices now look almost the same from the back.

The teaser also points to at least two colour options, including green and silver-style finishes. For young buyers, the design could become a major selling point, especially if Tecno prices it aggressively.

Expected processor and performance

The Tecno Pova 8 5G is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, according to reports based on benchmark and certification listings. This has not been fully confirmed by Tecno yet, so it should be treated as expected information until launch day.

If the Dimensity 7100 is used, the phone should be aimed at daily performance and casual gaming rather than flagship-level gaming. That means apps, browsing, video streaming, multitasking and popular games should run comfortably, but buyers should not expect it to compete with premium gaming phones.

For example, games like BGMI, Free Fire Max and Call of Duty Mobile should be the kind of titles Tecno will likely market this phone around. The final experience will depend on RAM, software tuning, heat management and display quality.

Expected display and software

Reports suggest that the Tecno Pova 8 5G may feature a large high refresh rate display, possibly around 144Hz. A higher refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming feel smoother, especially when compared with standard 60Hz screens. The phone is also expected to run Android 16 out of the box with Tecno’s HiOS skin on top. This could be a nice point if Tecno keeps the software clean and smooth. However, users should wait for reviews to check app load, update policy, ads, bloatware and long-term software stability.

Software matters a lot in this price segment. A phone can have a big battery and good hardware, but if the interface feels heavy or filled with unwanted apps, the experience can suffer.

Camera expectations

The Tecno Pova 8 5G is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup, possibly led by a 50MP main sensor. The front camera details are not officially confirmed yet. Tecno usually tries to offer camera features like AI portrait, night mode and social media-friendly filters in its budget and mid-range phones. Still, buyers should wait for actual camera samples before judging.

In this segment, camera quality can vary a lot. A 50MP label does not automatically mean great photos. Real-world results depend on sensor quality, image processing, lens tuning and low-light performance.

Expected price and availability

Tecno has not officially announced the price of the Pova 8 5G yet. Based on the Pova series positioning and expected hardware, it is likely to sit in the affordable 5G or lower mid-range category.

Some price trackers and early listings suggest a possible price around the Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 18,000 range, but this is not official. The final price, launch offers, bank discounts and sale platform will be confirmed only at launch. If Tecno manages to keep the price competitive, the 8,000mAh battery could become its biggest advantage.

Competitors to watch

The Tecno Pova 8 5G will compete with phones from Poco, Realme, iQOO, Redmi, Motorola and Infinix in India. Its closest rivals will likely be budget gaming-focused 5G phones with large batteries and high refresh rate displays. Phones like the Poco M-series, iQOO Z-series, Realme Narzo series, Redmi Note series and Infinix GT-style models could be compared with it depending on final price.

Tecno’s main advantage will be battery size and design. But competitors may fight back with better software updates, stronger processors or more trusted camera performance.

Conclusion with key takeaways

The Tecno Pova 8 5G looks like a phone built for users who want long battery life, a bold design and 5G support without moving into expensive flagship territory. The 8,000mAh battery is clearly the star feature, while the matrix-style rear lighting gives it a fresh visual identity.

Key takeaways

• The Tecno Pova 8 5G will launch in India on June 11, 2026, at 12 PM IST.
• The phone is confirmed to pack a large 8,000mAh battery.
• It is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, Android 16 and 45W charging.
