Peak XV Partners has announced the 12th cohort of its Surge seed programme, bringing 18 early-stage startups into the latest batch. At the same time, the venture capital firm has increased the maximum investment available to each Surge company from $3 million to $5 million as per ET.

The new cohort includes startups working in artificial intelligence, robotics, healthcare, space technology, fintech, consumer internet and music. Peak XV has reportedly invested more than $50 million across the group, while the 18 startups have collectively raised over $90 million in seed funding.
