For many buyers, this is not just about a glass roof. In this segment, features strongly influence purchase decisions, and Tata seems to have read that mood correctly. People want value, but they also want the “premium feel” that used to be reserved for higher trims and bigger budgets.

What makes the new Nexon variant important

The Nexon feature is clear now and it has come with panoramic sunroof at a sub-Rs-10-lakh price point. The broader significance is how Tata is reshaping expectations in the mass-market SUV category. A few years ago, buyers in this budget were focused mainly on mileage and maintenance.
