Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched Vivo T3 Lite 5G budget smartphone on June 27 in India. Basic features include ingress protection rating IP64, runs on operating system Funtouch OS 14 and the Android version 14.

The set is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip with 8 cores on it with process node 6nm and CPU clock speed 2 × 2.4 GHz + 6 × 2.0 GHz. It boasts a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, 5000 mAH Li-ion battery with charging power capacity 15 W, IP64 water-and-dust resistant rating, and LCD display of 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is offered in 128GB storage, which is standard in both 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants both LPDDR4X type of RAM.

The ROM type is eMMC 5.1 which is expected to be expandable up to 1TB.

South Korean phone manufacturer LG has launched budget smartphone with fingerprint scanner LG Q7, the successor to the LG Q6, in India under the price tag of INR 15,990 which will be available in retail outlets from September 1. LG also launched two other models – LG Q7+ and LG Q7α globally.

South Korean multinational conglomerate Samsung, has come up with the latest budget smartphone. The smartphone has been launched with a starting price of Rs 9,990 in India. The phone is part of Samsung’s Make for India initiative, and brings features like Adaptive Wi-Fi, Advanced Memory Management, App Pair, and Samsung Mall.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy J4 in two variants in India – 2GB RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage, and 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage.
