The latest model, 2024 Yamaha Fascino S, has just been launched in the Indian market by India Yamaha Motor at an opening ex-showroom price of Rs. 93,730. One of the main features of the new transponder model includes ‘Answer Back’ the ‘Find My Scooter’ system. For this, users need to simply switch on this feature from the mobile app, which causes the scooter indicators to flash and the scooter horn beeps for approximately two seconds.

Colors of Yamaha Fascino S

The 2024 Fascino S (or Fascino Fi) comes in three mesmerizing colors-

• Matte Red
• Matte Black
• Dark Matte Blue Fascino

The matte red and matte black options are available at Rs. 93,730 and the dark matte blue option is slightly expensive at Rs 94,530(ex-showroom).

Engine of Yamaha Fascino S

The Yamaha Fascino S comes equipped with a 125 cc air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi) Blue Core hybrid engine that follows the BS VI standard. This engine delivers 8 bhp at 6500 r/minute and features a 10. 3Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. It also has a smart motor generator (SMG) system that improves the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. The Fascino S or Fascino Fi comes equipped with several features including a silent start system, power assist, an automatic stop and start system, and two riding modes: Normal and Traffic.

Features of Yamaha Fascino S

The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter models were recently revamped by the company, brought in new colour options to give a new look. Both, Disc and Drum variants come equipped with the Cyan Blue, Matte Copper, and Silver and Metallic White options which join the existing Dark Matte Blue, Cool Blue Metallic, and Vivid Red ones. It has fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters and underseat storage of 21 liters. I comes with 12V, 5.0 Ah maintenance free battery. Furthermore, the subsequent specification of the drum brake version is a new Metallic Black color, complementing the palette.

Price of Yamaha Fascino S

The cost of the Fascino range is between Rs. 79,150 and Rs. 91,130 (Ex-Showroom) which provides sufficient variety for customers with different requirements concerning the price of a scooter.

Auto manufacturing giant Tata Motors has now finally unveiled the Tata Altroz Racer edition in the Indian auto market, on the existing platform of Tata Altroz car. The new models of the hatchback range is starting from Rs. 9.49 lakh and goes up to Rs. 10.99 lakh. This new versions of the hatchback is the most powerful addition of the Altroz Racer, and its models are-

• Racer R1 priced at Rs. 9.49 lakh
• Racer R2 priced at Rs. 10.49 lakh
• Racer R3 priced at Rs. 10.99 lakh

All models are equipped with 1199 CC Petrol engine, and comes in manual gear box having no options of automatic gearbox.

Its direct fight is with the models Hyundai’s i20 N line and Toyota Glanza.

These model comes with unique interiors and more powerful 120 PS 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine from Nexon. It has 26.03 cm touchscreen Herman infotainment and ventilated front seats with wireless charging option. It has 6 airbags in all and 360 degree surround view system (SVS) camera option as the safety features.

Along with, the Racer comes with iRA connected car technology which offers internet based features to elevate safety of your car such as remote lock/unlock, remote horn, distance to empty (DTE) check and remote lights on/off.

Other safety features include Remote immobilization, Panic Notification, Find my car, Stolen vehicle tracking, Intrusion alert, and Emergency SMS.

The model incorporates air purifier, voice activated electric sunroof, rear AC vents, rain sensing wipers, 17.78 cm TFT digital instrument cluster and 6 speed gearbox.

The car comes with 3 color options – Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey.

The Tata Altroz Racer design is very similar to the usual Altroz version of the car but the artwork on it does makes it different from the parent version. The dashboard also gets a racer badging and the front grille is upgraded. The ground clearance is also retained with the 16-inch alloy wheels on the hatchback.
