Realme has launched the Realme C100i 4G in India, and the phone is clearly aimed at buyers who want long battery life without spending too much. Priced at Rs. 14,999, the smartphone sits in the under Rs. 15,000 segment and brings a large 6,500mAh battery, 120Hz display, Android 16-based software, and dust and water resistance.

This is not a phone made for people chasing heavy gaming or flagship cameras. Instead, Realme seems to be targeting students, daily users, delivery workers, shop owners, and families who need a phone that lasts long, feels smooth, and handles regular tasks without fuss.

What makes Realme C100i 4G unique

The biggest highlight is the 6,500mAh battery. Most phones in this budget still offer around 5,000mAh, so Realme is trying to stand out with extra backup. For a normal user, this can mean fewer charging breaks during the day.

For example, if you use your phone for calls, WhatsApp, YouTube, UPI payments, maps, and social media, a larger battery can be genuinely useful. It is also helpful for people who travel often or live in areas where charging access is not always easy.

The phone supports 15W charging, which is decent but not very fast by today’s standards. So, while the battery is big, charging it fully may take some patience.

Display and design

The Realme C100i 4G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In simple words, 120Hz makes scrolling and screen movement feel smoother than a regular 60Hz panel.

This matters when you browse Instagram, read news, scroll through shopping apps, or move around the phone’s interface. The display also gets up to 900 nits peak brightness, which should help in outdoor use.

Realme is offering the phone in Midnight Black and Skyline Silver colour options. The design follows a modern flat-back style, and the company is also highlighting durability with military-grade shock resistance.

Performance and software

The Realme C100i 4G is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset. It comes in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Realme also mentions dynamic RAM support, which uses part of the storage as temporary memory for smoother multitasking.

The phone runs Realme UI based on Android 16. Realme is also claiming a smooth experience for up to three years, though real-world performance will depend on app usage, storage space, and software updates over time.

Camera and protection

For cameras, the phone gets an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. This setup is basic, so buyers should keep expectations practical. It should be fine for document photos, video calls, and casual daylight shots, but camera-focused users may want to compare other options.

The IP64 rating is a useful addition. It means the phone has protection against dust and water splashes, although it is not made for underwater use.

Competitors

At Rs. 14,999, the Realme C100i 4G will compete with budget phones from Lava, Redmi, Poco, Samsung, and Motorola. Its main challenge is simple: many buyers now prefer 5G phones in this price range.

So, the C100i 4G makes more sense for buyers who care more about battery, display smoothness, and durability than 5G connectivity.

AI+ has launched two new 5G smartphones in India – Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G. The phones are aimed at budget and value-focused buyers who want 5G, long battery life and updated software without spending too much. The starting price of the AI+ Nova 2 series is Rs. 12,999. The phones will go on sale through Flipkart from June 26, 2026, at 12 noon. That makes the series important for buyers looking for a new 5G phone around the lower-midrange segment. Earlier to this, AI+ launched NovaFlip 5G, and Nova 2.

The biggest talking points are Android 16, a 6000mAh battery and a 48MP primary camera. At this price, these features can help AI+ attract students, first-time 5G buyers and users who want a dependable daily phone.

AI+ Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G price and sale

The AI+ Nova 2 Neo 5G starts at Rs. 12,999 in India. The company has launched the Nova 2 Pro 5G alongside it, though buyers should check the live Flipkart listing for final variant-wise pricing and launch offers.

The official sale begins on June 26, 2026, at 12 noon on Flipkart.

Launch offers may include bank discounts or exchange benefits, but these can change during sale time. So, it is better to check the final checkout price before buying.

Design and display

The AI+ Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G are positioned as modern budget 5G phones. Reports mention a large display, which should make them suitable for watching videos, online classes, browsing and social media. The display is expected to be HD quality. That means users should get a decent viewing experience for daily tasks, but they should not expect flagship-level sharpness or AMOLED-like deep colours unless the final product listing confirms it.

For the target price, the focus seems to be on screen size, battery life and regular usability rather than premium display technology.

Battery and charging

Both phones come with a 6000mAh battery. This is one of the strongest features of the Nova 2 series. For normal users, a 6000mAh battery can be useful for a full day and possibly more, depending on usage. If someone uses WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, calls, UPI payments and browsing throughout the day, the larger battery should reduce charging anxiety.

This can be especially useful for students, delivery workers, travelers and people who do not want to carry a charger everywhere.

Camera features

The AI+ Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G come with a 48MP primary camera, according to launch reports.

A 48MP camera sounds good on paper, but real quality will depend on sensor tuning, software processing and lighting. In daylight, users can expect decent photos for social media, documents and casual use.

For low-light photography, buyers should keep expectations practical. Phones in this price range usually focus on basic camera needs rather than advanced night photography.

Software and Android 16

One of the most interesting points is Android 16. Both phones are reported to run on the latest Android 16 operating system. This can be a strong advantage because many budget phones still launch with older Android versions. A newer Android base can mean better security, smoother app support and a fresher user experience.

The final software experience will depend on how clean AI+ keeps the interface, how many preloaded apps are included and what update promise the company gives.

Performance and 5G support

Both phones support 5G connectivity. That makes them suitable for users who want to upgrade from older 4G devices.

Reports mention a capable processor for multitasking and gaming, but the exact chipset details were not clearly available in the accessible launch coverage at the time of writing. Because of that, buyers should check the final Flipkart specification page before choosing between the Neo and Pro models.

For regular tasks like calls, messaging, video streaming, social media, online payments and casual games, the phones should fit the expected use case. Heavy gaming users should wait for real-world reviews.

Nova 2 Neo 5G vs Nova 2 Pro 5G

The Nova 2 Neo 5G appears to be the more affordable model in the lineup. It should suit buyers who want a 5G phone with big battery backup and basic camera needs.

The Nova 2 Pro 5G is expected to offer a slightly better overall package, possibly with higher memory or improved features. However, final differences between both models should be checked from the sale page once Flipkart listings go live.

In simple terms, the Neo model is likely for budget-first buyers. The Pro model may be better for users who want a little more performance or storage flexibility.

Competitors

The AI+ Nova 2 series will compete with budget 5G phones from Redmi, Realme, Poco, Lava, Infinix, Tecno, HMD and Motorola.

At around Rs. 12,999, buyers usually compare battery size, display quality, camera, RAM, storage, processor and software updates. AI+ has a clear pitch with 6000mAh battery and Android 16, but it will need to prove itself on performance, after-sales service and software stability.

Should you buy it

The AI+ Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G look interesting for buyers who want long battery life, 5G and new Android software at an affordable price.

However, since AI+ is still building its brand presence, buyers should check service availability in their city. It is also wise to wait for first user reviews if camera quality and gaming performance are important.

Conclusion with key takeaways

The AI+ Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G bring fresh competition to India’s budget 5G market. With a starting price of Rs. 12,999, Android 16, 6000mAh battery and 48MP camera, the series looks practical for daily users.

The phones will go on sale through Flipkart from June 26, 2026. Buyers should compare final variants, offers and chipset details before making a purchase.
