Tecno has launched the Spark Go 3 Pro in India at a starting price of Rs. 15,999. The phone is aimed at buyers who want a durable daily-use smartphone rather than a flashy gaming or camera-heavy device.

The biggest talking points are its IP69 rating, 120Hz display, 5,200mAh battery and AI Voiceprint Noise Cancellation. At this price, Tecno is trying to offer something different: a phone that can handle dust, splashes, rough commutes and outdoor use better than many regular budget phones.

What makes Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro different

The main highlight of the Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is its IP68 and IP69-rated body. In simple words, the phone is built to resist dust and water exposure better than normal smartphones.

IP69 is usually seen as a strong durability rating because it includes protection against high-pressure water jets. That does not mean the phone is unbreakable or made for careless use, but it should give more confidence to people who work outdoors.

For example, delivery workers, farmers, students travelling in crowded buses, shop staff and field professionals may find this useful. A little rain, dust, or accidental splash is less worrying when the phone has stronger protection.

Display and design

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

A 120Hz display makes scrolling feel smoother than a basic 60Hz screen. This is useful while using Instagram, YouTube, news apps, shopping apps or even just moving around the phone’s menus.

The screen brightness goes up to 580 nits, which should be fine for regular indoor and outdoor use, though it may not feel as bright as AMOLED phones under direct sunlight.

Performance and software

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 4G chipset. It comes with 4GB RAM and two storage options: 64GB and 128GB.

This is a 4G phone, so buyers should keep that in mind. If you want faster 5G internet and plan to use the phone for many years, there are other options in this price range. But for calling, WhatsApp, UPI, YouTube, browsing and light apps, the Spark Go 3 Pro should cover basic needs.

The phone runs Android 16, which is good to see in this segment.

Camera, battery and useful extras

For photography, Tecno has given a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. This is a simple camera setup. It should work for daylight photos, document scanning and video calls, but camera lovers should not expect premium results.

The 5,200mAh battery is practical for daily use. Charging support is listed at 15W in most launch reports, so charging speed is not the strongest part of the phone.

Other useful features include dual speakers with DTS support, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI Voiceprint Noise Cancellation and an IR blaster. The IR blaster can help control compatible TVs, ACs and other appliances from the phone.

Price and availability

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 16,999.

Sales will begin from September 4, 2026, through Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail stores.

Competitors

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro will compete with budget phones from Realme, Redmi, Poco, Lava, Motorola and Samsung.

Its biggest strength is durability. However, some rivals may offer 5G support, better processors or stronger cameras around the same price. So, this phone is best for buyers who value toughness, battery life and a smooth display more than 5G.

Conclusion – Key takeaways

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is a practical phone for people who want a tough daily-use device under Rs. 17,000. Its IP69 rating, 120Hz display, 5,200mAh battery and noise cancellation features make it stand out.

The main compromise is 4G connectivity and basic cameras. If durability matters more than raw performance, this phone makes sense.
