Indian businesses across customer service, gaming, fintech and digital commerce have received fresh capital. Fusion CX has raised Rs. 315 crore from anchor investors before its IPO, while Spill Games has secured $10.5 million in Series A funding.

RocketPay has also raised Rs. 10 crore led by investor Sandeep Jain. Separately, Circle, a pre-owned goods marketplace, has raised seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners.

These deals show that investors are backing both established companies preparing for the public market and younger startups building technology-led businesses.

Fusion CX uses anchor funding before IPO

Fusion CX, a Kolkata-based customer experience and AI services company, has raised Rs. 315 crore from anchor investors before opening its IPO.

The company was founded in 2004 by Pankaj Dhanuka and Kishore Saraogi. Its Rs. 702 crore IPO is scheduled to include a fresh issue of Rs. 500 crore and an offer for sale of Rs. 202 crore. The price band has been fixed at Rs. 275 to Rs. 289 per share.

The fresh issue proceeds are expected to be used for repaying borrowings, investing in subsidiaries and upgrading AI tools such as Arya and MindVoice. A part of the money may also support acquisitions and general corporate requirements.

Anchor investors are large institutional investors who receive shares before public bidding begins. Their participation can improve confidence in an IPO, although it does not guarantee listing gains or future returns.

Fusion CX competes with business process outsourcing companies, customer support providers and enterprise AI platforms.

Spill Games wants to build global mobile games

Bengaluru-based Spill Games has raised $10.5 million in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital. Existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital also participated.

The company was founded in 2024 by former PlaySimple Games executives Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg.

Spill Games is building an AI-led mobile gaming studio focused on casual, puzzle and hybrid-casual games. These games are designed to be easy to understand and can be played in short sessions.

The new funding will help Spill Games improve successful titles, create new games, invest in AI and technology, expand user acquisition and hire selectively. The company’s approach is different from that of a single-game studio because it is building common systems that can support several game launches as reported in Elevation Capital.

Its competitors include mobile gaming studios such as Dream Games, Playrix and Indian game developers targeting global players.

RocketPay expands from collections to recovery infrastructure

RocketPay has secured Rs. 10 crore in a funding round led by Sandeep Jain, co-founder of stock broking firm Tradeswift. Inflection Point Ventures, LetsVenture, Launch Capital, AVNM Ventures and Navyug Global Ventures also participated, along with existing investor All In Capital.

Founded in 2022 by Rishav Dokania, Arpit Bajpai, Ishan Sharma and Kishor Chabbadiya, RocketPay helps lenders automate payment collections through tools such as UPI Autopay, eNACH and Account Aggregator services.

The company now wants to expand into wider recovery infrastructure. This includes technology-based recovery of financed assets such as smartphones bought on instalments.

Its aim is to help lenders collect payments more efficiently while keeping the recovery process transparent and technology-driven.

Circle builds a marketplace for pre-owned goods

Circle has raised seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners. The startup was founded by Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra and operates in the pre-owned goods marketplace segment.

Its platform is aimed at helping users buy and sell used products in a more organised way. The new capital is expected to support product development, team building and expansion, although the company has not publicly shared a detailed deployment plan.

Circle competes with resale and recommerce platforms that focus on used electronics, furniture, fashion and other consumer products.
