Acer has launched two new Android tablets in India, the Iconia Tab 11 5G and Iconia Tab 12 5G. Both models combine 5G connectivity with 90Hz displays, 8GB RAM, expandable storage and support for a stylus and keyboard cover.

The tablets are designed for students, office users, online learners and families who want a larger screen for entertainment and everyday work.

Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G features

The Iconia Tab 11 5G comes with a 10.95-inch Full HD IPS display. It offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 450 nits of brightness.

The higher refresh rate should make scrolling and animations feel smoother than on a standard 60Hz screen. Its smaller size also makes it easier to carry between home, college and office.

The tablet is powered by a MediaTek MT8755 octa-core processor with two performance cores and six efficiency cores. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage, depending on the variant. A microSD card slot allows users to add more storage.

Other features include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, fingerprint recognition and a USB Type-C port. The tablet has an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera as per Acer store.

A 7,400mAh battery powers the device, with support for 18W charging.

Acer Iconia Tab 12 5G features

The Iconia Tab 12 5G is aimed at users who want a larger workspace. It features a 12.2-inch IPS display with 2.4K resolution of 2,400 x 1,600 pixels.

The screen also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of brightness. The larger panel can be useful for reading documents, attending online classes, editing presentations or watching films.

It uses the same MediaTek MT8755 processor and 8GB RAM as the Iconia Tab 11 5G. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB, with expandable storage through a microSD card.

The Tab 12 has an 8MP front camera and a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP main sensor and 2MP macro camera. It also includes 5G support, fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth and USB Type-C connectivity as per Acer store.

Its biggest advantage is the 10,000mAh battery. Like the smaller model, it supports 18W charging.

The Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G starts at Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. Depending on the storage and bundled accessories, prices go up to Rs. 29,999.

The Iconia Tab 12 5G starts at Rs. 29,999 and goes up to Rs. 36,999 for the 256GB model with a stylus and keyboard cover.

The stylus is useful for taking notes, drawing and signing documents. The keyboard flip cover can turn either tablet into a more laptop-like device for typing emails and assignments.

The Iconia Tab 11 5G is available through Flipkart and Acer’s online store. The Tab 12 5G is also listed through Amazon and Acer Exclusive stores.

How are they different

The Iconia Tab 11 5G is better suited for users who want portability and a lower starting price. It is practical for video calls, browsing, studying and light work.

The Iconia Tab 12 5G is the stronger choice for people who prefer a large display, longer battery life and more comfortable multitasking. Its bigger screen and optional keyboard make it more suitable for productivity.

Both models compete with tablets from Lenovo, Samsung, Xiaomi and Redmi. Acer’s main advantage is the combination of 5G, keyboard support and expandable storage at a mid-range price.

The Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G and Iconia Tab 12 5G offer a balanced mix of connectivity, battery life and productivity features.
