These devices target different users. Redmi focuses on a large-screen 5G smartphone with a big battery. Ai+ is offering a cheaper smartphone, a tablet for study and entertainment, and a laptop-style tablet for productivity.

Redmi 17C 5G price and features

The Redmi 17C 5G starts at Rs. 20,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 6GB RAM and 128GB version costs Rs. 22,999. The first sale begins on Amazon, Xiaomi’s website and selected Xiaomi retail outlets at 12 noon.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor. It has a large 6.9-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The higher refresh rate can make scrolling and supported games feel smoother.

A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone, with support for 33W charging. The camera setup includes a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card.

The Redmi 17C 5G runs HyperOS 3 and includes features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP64 splash and dust resistance and support for Google Gemini features.

It is best suited for users who want 5G connectivity, a big display, long battery life and expandable storage.

Ai+ Pulse 2 FE for budget buyers

The Ai+ Pulse 2 FE is priced at Rs. 9,999 for its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It has a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
