Fire-Boltt has entered India’s smartphone market with two new phones under its Boltt brand – Boltt Evo and Boltt Ace 5G. The launch is important because Fire-Boltt is already known in India for smartwatches and audio products, and now it is trying to win budget smartphone buyers too.

The new Boltt Evo is a 4G phone, while the Boltt Ace 5G is the more powerful 5G model. Both phones focus on simple but useful features – a large display, 6,000mAh battery, Android 16, Google AI tools and clean software without heavy bloatware.

The phones will go on sale through Flipkart from 1 September 2026 at 12 PM as per report. With launch-day offers, prices will start from Rs. 9,999, making the Boltt Evo one of the more affordable new phones in this segment.

Boltt Evo and Ace 5G price in India

The Boltt Evo is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 11,999.

The Boltt Ace 5G starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 14,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 15,999.

As part of the first-sale offer, buyers can get an instant Rs. 1,000 discount at checkout. That brings the effective starting price of Boltt Evo to Rs. 9,999 and Boltt Ace 5G to Rs. 12,999.

Display and design

Both Boltt Evo and Boltt Ace 5G come with a 6.79-inch HD+ display. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and animations feel smoother than a basic 60Hz display.

The display also offers up to 600 nits peak brightness. This should be fine for normal indoor use and shaded outdoor areas, though it may not match brighter AMOLED phones in direct sunlight.

Both phones have a centred punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The design also includes flat edges, which gives the phones a more modern look. Earlier design teasers showed multiple colour options, with the Ace 5G positioned above the Evo.

Performance and processor

The Boltt Evo is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset. This is a budget 4G processor meant for basic everyday use.

The Boltt Ace 5G gets the Unisoc T8200 chipset, which brings 5G support and better performance than the Evo. It should be suitable for calling, WhatsApp, YouTube, browsing, social media, UPI payments and light gaming.

These phones are not made for heavy gaming or professional-level camera work. Their target buyer is someone who wants a simple, affordable phone with a big battery and clean software.

Camera features

The Boltt Evo gets a 50MP main rear camera. The Boltt Ace 5G comes with a 64MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture.

Both phones get an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Boltt is also adding Google AI imaging features such as Face Unblur and Night Mode. Face Unblur can help improve slightly shaky face shots, while Night Mode helps in low-light scenes. Still, buyers should wait for real camera samples before judging final photo quality.

Battery and charging

Both Boltt Evo and Boltt Ace 5G pack a 6,000mAh battery. This is one of the strongest features of the phones.

For a normal user, a 6,000mAh battery can make daily life easier. If your day includes social media, calls, online payments, YouTube, maps and some gaming, the phone should last longer than many regular 5,000mAh phones.

Both phones support up to 18W fast charging. This is not the fastest charging in the market, but it is acceptable in this price range. The bigger focus here is battery backup, not super-fast charging.

Software and AI tools

The Boltt Evo and Ace 5G run Android 16 out of the box. The company is also highlighting a clean, bloatware-free software experience.

This matters because many budget phones come with too many pre-installed apps, notifications and recommendations. A cleaner interface can make the phone feel smoother and easier to use, especially for first-time buyers.

The phones also support Google features such as Circle to Search and Google Lens. Circle to Search lets users search something on the screen without switching apps. For example, if you see a shoe, location, product or text on Instagram, you can circle it and search quickly.

Google Lens can help scan text, translate signs, identify objects and search visually. These small AI tools can be useful for students, shoppers and everyday users.

Service support and Boltt Care app

Boltt is also focusing on customer support. The phones come with a dedicated Boltt Care app for support and troubleshooting.

This is important because Fire-Boltt is entering a tough category. People may buy smartwatches from new brands easily, but smartphones need stronger after-sales service. If a phone has a display issue, battery problem or software trouble, buyers need quick help.

Before buying, users should check whether service support is available near their city or area.

The Ace 5G has a strong point in offering 128GB storage from the base variant, clean software and a 6,000mAh battery. But rivals may offer better brand trust, wider service networks or stronger processors in some cases.
