The Indian smartphone market is seeing two very different launches this week. Realme has introduced the P4s Lite as an affordable, battery-focused phone, while Vivo is expected to launch the premium X Fold 6 in India today, October 6, 2026 along with Vivo V80.

One phone is designed for everyday users who want long battery life at a lower price. The other is a high-end foldable aimed at buyers who want a large screen, powerful performance and advanced cameras.

Realme P4s Lite features and price

The Realme P4s Lite is priced at Rs. 16,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 18,499. The phone will go on sale in India from October 8 through Realme’s sales channels.

Its biggest attraction is the 7,000mAh Titan Battery. Realme claims the battery can maintain more than 80% capacity after six years under its laboratory test conditions. It supports 15W charging and can also reverse-charge compatible devices through a wired connection.

The phone has a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This should make scrolling, animations and supported games look smoother than on a standard 60Hz screen.

Under the hood, the device uses the Unisoc T7250 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded through a memory card, making the phone more practical for users who keep many photos, videos and offline files.

For photography, the Realme P4s Lite has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera. It supports Google Gemini, IP64 dust and water resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is a 4G device and does not support 5G or NFC.

The Realme P4s Lite may suit students, senior users, delivery workers and people who prefer battery backup over advanced cameras or gaming performance. Its competitors include the Redmi, Samsung Galaxy M and Motorola phones in the Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 range.

Vivo X Fold 6 features and expected price

Vivo has confirmed an October 6 launch event in India, where the X Fold 6 is expected to join the V80 and S2 FE. India-specific pricing and final configurations were not officially disclosed before the event.

The foldable is expected to feature an 8.02-inch inner AMOLED display and a 6.51-inch cover screen. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate, making the phone suitable for reading, multitasking, gaming and watching videos.

The Vivo X Fold 6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset. It is expected to include a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

The camera setup is one of its main highlights. The phone has a ZEISS-tuned triple rear camera system with a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It also includes 20MP cameras on the inner and outer screens.

The foldable is expected to run Android 16-based OriginOS software and offer IP58 and IP59 protection. Its rivals include the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, Oppo Find N models and other premium book-style foldables.

A leaked report has suggested an India price of around Rs. 2,19,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version, but this figure should not be treated as official until Vivo announces it.

The Realme P4s Lite is meant for practical users who want long battery life, a large display and basic everyday performance.
