Desible.ai, byteXL and Credfix Raise Fresh Funding to Expand AI, Education and Credit Support

Three Indian startups have raised fresh capital for very different needs. Desible.ai is building AI tools for financial institutions, byteXL is expanding technology education in colleges and Credfix is helping borrowers manage difficult credit situations.
Although their sectors are different, all three funding rounds point to a common trend. Investors are backing startups that use technology to solve practical problems in finance, education and consumer credit.
Desible.ai raises Rs. 32 crore for financial services AI
Founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, Desible.ai raised Rs. 32 crore in a seed-plus round led by Prime Venture Partners. Existing investor Invention Engine also participated in the round.
Desible.ai develops AI-powered workflow tools for banks, insurers and other financial services companies. Its platform can assist with customer calls, collections, policy renewals, lead qualification, claims support and service requests.
The startup plans to use the funding to improve its agentic AI systems, strengthen compliance features and expand its sales and product teams. Its technology works across voice calls, WhatsApp, SMS and email.
For financial companies, the goal is not just to automate conversations. The larger aim is to connect customer communication with internal systems while keeping approvals, consent and compliance records visible.
Desible.ai competes with voice automation, customer-service AI and workflow software providers. Its focus on regulated financial services gives it a more specific position than general-purpose chatbots.
byteXL raises $9 million to reach more colleges
Hyderabad-based byteXL raised $9 million in a Series B round led by Elevar Equity. Existing backers Kalaari Capital and the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation also joined the round. The company was founded in 2020 by brothers Karun Tadepalli and Sricharan Tadepalli.
byteXL works with engineering colleges to provide industry-focused training in software, data and artificial intelligence. Its model combines classroom education with practical technology skills.
The company plans to use the new funding to expand to more Indian states, improve its learning platform, build AI-based coaching and strengthen its academic network. It aims to grow from around 40 colleges to 120 institutions and reach nearly five lakh students over the next two years.
Its main competition includes coding academies, online learning platforms and other companies that partner directly with colleges. byteXL’s difference is its college-based model, especially in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
Credfix raises Rs. 16.1 crore to support borrowers
Credfix has raised Rs. 16.1 crore in seed funding led by Tanglin Venture Partners, with participation from Stargazer. The startup provides AI-based support for people dealing with loans, repayment problems and credit-related issues.
The company was founded by Ranjan Agarwal, Neeraj Kulkarni and Ayush Kedia. It says its platform serves more than two lakh borrowers linked to over Rs. 4,000 crore in outstanding debt.
Credfix will use the capital to improve its AI tools, develop its product and expand borrower support across India. Its purpose is to bring lenders, recovery agencies, legal processes and borrowers into a more organized support system.
The startup operates in the credit management and financial wellness space. Its competitors include loan settlement firms, credit counselling services and financial assistance platforms.
Conclusion with key takeaways
Desible.ai is using funding to build compliance-focused AI for financial services. byteXL is preparing to take job-oriented technology education to more colleges, while Credfix is focusing on clearer and more accessible borrower support.
Together, these rounds show how Indian startup funding is moving beyond consumer apps. Investors are also looking at specialized platforms that improve business operations, employability and financial access.
