Dell has launched its new connected AI laptop portfolio in India, bringing the Dell Pro 3, Dell Pro 5 and Dell Pro 7 series for business users. The new laptops were showcased at Dell Technologies Forum 2026 in Mumbai on September 2.
The big attraction is connectivity. Select models support 5G, 4G LTE, eSIM and Wi-Fi 7, which means users do not always need office Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot to stay online. Dell is clearly aiming these laptops at professionals who work from airports, client sites, factories, cafes, hotels and remote locations.
What Dell has launched
Dell’s new Pro lineup includes the Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 commercial laptops. The starting price in India begins at Rs. 1,27,429 for the Dell Pro 3 14.
The Pro 7 sits at the premium end of the lineup. It comes in 13-inch and 14-inch sizes, including 2-in-1 options. The Pro 5 is meant for mainstream professional users, while the Pro 3 is designed for everyday office productivity.
Dell has also introduced Precision 9 workstations, professional monitors and a 4K webcam, but the main laptop story is around connected AI PCs for business users.
What makes these laptops different
The key difference is built-in mobile connectivity on select configurations. A regular laptop needs Wi-Fi. These Dell models can use 5G or 4G mobile broadband, depending on the version.
This can be useful for people who travel often. For example, a sales manager can open a CRM dashboard while travelling between meetings. A field engineer can upload inspection reports from a plant site. A consultant can join a video call without depending on hotel Wi-Fi.
